My Afternoon in Vienna

Click Pic for More

I spent the afternoon with my friends Mary, Eva, Lenka and Frankie (Milan really, but everyone calls him Frankie.) in Vienna. We walked around the city just looking at sights and taking pictures. I found out on this trip my great little Canon S60 camera has given up the ghost, the CCD is toast, such is life. We stopped at a cafe for a coffee and then came back to Bratislava for an quite evening just hanging in the flat drinking wine and talking. I will wait for another day with good weather and take the train back. It is about 20 bucks round trip and takes less than 50 min. The city is like no other European city I have seen. The picture of the girls on the tree are three of my four flatmates, Kate being the other, now do some of you understand why I am living here.

"...now do some of you understand why I am living here?"

Not really- since you were [presumably] fooling around with one of them in the past, we can be fairly certain, given the circumstances, that you are currently not fooling around with any of them. Basic Euclidean logic integrated with the Woont Ghetsum Principle of Fundamental Female Dynamics.

It's kind of like "Three's Company" and you're Jack Tripper except there's twice as many chicks and a lot less sexual tension.

Presumably.

I will counter with "Schrodingers cat" which a cat placed in a sealed box with poison that will kill the cat at some time, but until you open the box you don't know if the cat is alive or dead, so unless you live in the flat you can assume basically the same thing with me.

Jack Tripper was a pussy.

I am more like Agador in The Birdcage, with out the fondness for female fashion he had. I enjoying being a house boy, it's good work if you can get it.

Ahhhh, Schrodinger's Cat.

Unfortunately your interpretation and application of this paradox is incorrect.

Schrodinger's cat was used as a mechanism to explain quantum superpositions to simple minds. It is meant to describe how a system may exist in a combination of all of its possible states. The cat is a generalized description more applicable to subatomic systems than biological ones.

So, in effect the cat is both alive and dead (not one or the other) at the same time until the exact moment its state of being is measured.

To apply this to you: You are fooling around with all of them, none of them and any combination of them at the same time. Even you are not physically capable of these possible permutations at any given moment.

Considering that we measured the state of being in that "box" when you took pictures illustrating that there wasn't, in fact, any such shananigans going on we can return to my previous supposition.

I'm just a caveman. I fell on some ice and later got thawed out by some of your scientists. Your world frightens and confuses me! Sometimes the honking horns of your traffic make me want to get out of my BMW.. and run off into the hills, or wherever.. Sometimes when I get a message on my fax machine, I wonder: "Did little demons get inside and type it?" I don't know! My primitive mind can't grasp these concepts.
