I am Loving Google+

I am really enjoying Google+. The control I have over who and what I see is great. There is much less clutter than facebook but I am not sure how long that will last once Google opens up the API's to developers to create apps and games like Farmville and Mafia Wars. The downside is there are a few issues like comments not sorting by thread and the ability to shrink a long thread down but these are changes I am sure are in the works.
Right now not many of my friends are on it and only one of them post's anything but I do follow some big tech players and stay on top of all kinds of fun and interesting posts and links. Although do to the large amount of people who also follow them, the comments feed gets long rather quickly.

The cool thing for me was about a day after I added Apple Co-founder Steve Wozniak to one of my circles I got an email saying that he added me to one of his circles. For me that is way cool.

If you want or need an invite send me an email and I will be happy to send you one.

I Signed Up for Google+ (I have invites if you need one)

So after a few weeks after deactivating facebook account I am back in the social network scene on Google+. Right now it is only a few weeks old so not many people have signed up but I like the way you can customize it and it is much less cluttered than facebook. The privacy settings are very good and allow you to customize it to your needs. I also like that integration with other google services such as picassa. I would like direct links to youtube and blogger accounts so everything is organized in one place.

If you want to join and need an invite, send me an email (my address is on the right side of the blog.) with the Subject line - "Googleplus invite" nothing else is needed. I will then send an invite to your email address. Or you can send a comment to this post with your email, as I moderate comments I will send you the invite then delete the comment so your email address is not posted.
